Hey nobody is perfect with the forecast. And as far as temperatures go for that day they were pretty tough, in Elmira which is just south of Ithaca we had a high of 60 just before midnight. I do disagree with the person on the winds, the forecast does say for the afternoon, not in the past 6 hours, and across New York state with had gusts up to 60 miles an hour, with sustained winds around 30. Areas of New York did have damage do to the strong winds. The weather service covered the winds well but maybe the slipped a little on the temperatures. The one thing i would like to know is what were the temperatures earlier at Ithaca, I think they were in the low 40's, because they were in the low 40's in Elmira earlier that morning.
