About the MSU issue..

I read the two latest entries and really can't believe some of the things I read.

Those two guys made it sound like the people on here that wrote those things said they needed to be bound, gagged and beaten or something. Nobody said that they were worthless and not capable of doing a good job. Personally the only thing about it that bothers me is that the people who get the MSU "certificate" want the same honors and recognitions as those of us who bust their "you know whats" for four years.

One of the letters said "They also work 50 + hours a week and are trying to balance a life outside of TV as well as academic pursuits." I have some news for this guy....what do you think we do at college, party all day?

I worked a 40 hour a week job and took a full load of classes every semester as well as having to take school loans out top be able to afford to go. I am proud of what I have accomplished and I am not going to sit around while people try to make it out like it is a four year vacation in school.

Yeah, you may know all those technical television terms but that isn't anything I am not going to learn in the first few months of working on-air. The real question is are you ever going to learn all the things I did in school? The bottom line is that some people decide to go to school and some people decide to take the easier way out. NOW, I am not saying it is bad or anything, but if you think the MSU program is anything like a real Atmospheric Science program, you are the one that needs the so called "reality check."

No hard feelings toward anyone.......just had to get my opinions in! Please feel free to e-mail me personally if you would like to discuss things.
